3 Different Buchas

I ate a whole cantalope in one sitting. It was that melon Bakersfield was holding.

Luna Kombucha in Snozzberry. It was good and berry tasting. I hear they are coming out with 7% alcohol kombucha. Luna Kombucha is from Columbus, Ohio.

Fab Ferments had stopped making kombucha for awhile, but now they are back! Pineapple Rage has always been my favorite. It's sweet and tastes like pineapple.

The national brand: GT's. Sometimes I just like Gingerberry. It's usually fizzy and I can reclose the bottle.

My favorite of three this time was Fab Ferments! It just tasted the best after a long day at work.

Just Mayo

Apparently you can find this at the Dollar Tree for $1. It's $4.5 at Park+Vine. I found it to be delicious! My mom didn't even know the difference. Hampton Creek is also going to come out with other products soon. They want dairy and egg substitutes to be available for everyone. In MIT Review the owner stated that it costs $.13 to produce $.01 of an egg. He says he can produce (healthier) substitutes $.02 to $.01. Yay! It's awesome that this tastes really good, too.

Daiya Jalapeno Harvati Block

Vegan Cheese! I love Daiya Cheese. Sometimes I just like to have vegan meat or cheese substitutes on hand to eat as a side with veggie dinners. Like two nights ago I made Brussels sprouts and fingerling potatoes and ate that on a bed of spinach. On the side I had vegan tartar sauce and one gardein fish fillet, and a cube or so of this cheese. The package said it was "new & improved". It  seemed more spreadable to me. I still like it, but I liked the harder cubes better. Oh, I did have some white bread with it yesterday and it spread on fabulously. Good stuff.

Gardein Fish Fillets

Of course Igot this at Park+Vine. It has the Gardein chicken texture, but it does taste fishy. I really like it. I've been eating them all week with vegan tartar sauce.

What I ate today

I did not eat Bakersfield. He did handle one of my melons though.

Banana ice cream with pumpkin pie spice and vegan honee.

I also sampled what we had for brunch at Park+Vine. French toast and a new hollandaise sauce. For both things I used Vegg! I was really excited about both things. They tasted great. I definitely will use thicker bread next time and let the hollandaise sauce thicken more before serving.

Then I ate quinoa, beans, broccoli, asparagus, and a salad. All were leftovers. And 1 and a half Gardein fish fillets.

This X-Files Novel is Pretty Good

I'm going to have to start bringing my camera to work. Today I had two cups of coffee with So Delicious French Vanilla Coconut Creamer. I had a cup of cabbage and white bean soup and a Rubenator. A Rubenator is made with Shadeau sourdough rye bread, thousand island dressing, tempeh, Daiya mozzarella, and purple kraut. It is my favorite sandwich at my job. I also ate that cookie from Iris I bought yesterday. And 2 dates. As soon as I got home I ate a piece of bread with mayo and mustard with my leftover salad.

I had to check online to make sure this was vegan and was happy to see that they had a chart with a lot of different diets and allergies. This was for sure vegan. It's from my mom.

I added green bell peppers, onion, carrot and garlic.

I ran out of greens! So I used a wheatgrass shot from my freezer and two teaspoons of matcha powder. Also I used a cup of unsweetened soymilk, 3 dates, and 1 and a half frozen banana. This was really tasty and creamy. Ok, I'm going to read some more and take a bath.

Leftovers and Mac

Tonight's dinner did not thrill me.

Leftover hamburger and fries.

So glad I finally tried it.

It was really good. My mom liked it, too. I'm feeling a little sicky, but I would be able to go out if I had to. Just had a vitamin c packet and two pieces of bread with pb and vegan honey.
